My primary goal for AlerGenetica is to develop propriety therapies that improve the quality of life of patients suffering from allergies caused by fungi.
AlerGenetica researchers and scientists are working to discover and develop new ways to treat and prevent life-threatening and debilitating illnesses caused by fungi, and at the same time improve wellness and quality of life across a range of therapeutic areas.
Longer term, it is our belief that the propriety genomic and immunology based strategies we are using for fungal allergies could be utilized for developing non fungal allergy based therapies.

Dr. Diaz-Torres is AlerGenetica's Executive Vice President of Research and Innovation and co-founder. Prior to founding AlerGenetica, Dr. Diaz-Torres held a number of leadership positions at Genencor Internacional (a Danisco Company) in CA, U.S.A. including a Senior Scientist position.

Dr. Miller is AlerGenetica's Executive Vice President of Product Development and co-founder. Prior to fund AlerGenetica, Dr. Miller held a number of leadership positions at Genencor Internacional (a Danisco Company) in CA, U.S.A. including Process Analytical Manager at Genencor International's primary R&D facility and Senior Scientist. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Louisville (Kentucky, U.S.A.).
